Doctor Norman Brandon was born in Ontario, Canada, and immediately displayed a curiosity for how things worked; exploring everything he could get his hands on. As he grew up, his curiosity became more focused and he realized that he was ultimately most fascinated by the eye. Before he graduated high school he had set his sights on a future in optometry and has never regretted that early decision.
In 1999 he graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and began a clinical rotation in the Marshfield Clinic, during which time Dr. Orley Jensen's office in Madison became available. Dr. Brandon's wife, Angie, grew up in small Wisconsin town near the Mississippi River, so Wisconsin has always been close to her heart. In many ways Wisconsin seemed similar to the rural Ontario, Canada area Dr. Brandon called home. With a small private office for sale, the couple felt they simply could not pass up the opportunity to move to the Middleton/Madison, Wisconsin area and own their own business.
Dr. Brandon has found that the most exciting part of owning his own business is being able to find new ways to improve vision and then watching the smile light up his patients' faces when they see more than they're accustomed to viewing. He has established Brandon Eyes as an environment of change, new technology, new products, and new challenges.
Optometry aside, Dr. Brandon made another life-altering decision in his teens; it was during these years that he met his wife. The couple married during his last year of optometry school and has three energetic boys, Luke, Evan, and Alex. The entire family is thrilled that they chose to settle in the Madison, Wisconsin area and enjoy taking in all of the magnificent sights and activities that this region has to offer.
Dr. Danielle Seddio is excited to be a part of the Brandon Eyes team and help provide high-quality eye care to patients in the Madison area.

She then traveled to Memphis, TN to study at the Southern College of Optometry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011.
During her time in optometry school, she was able to go on mission trips to Belarus and Nicaragua to give eye exams to people in need. After graduating, Dr. Seddio returned to St. Louis where she practiced for a few years before relocating to Madison for her husband's job.
Dr. Seddio strives to address each patient's visual and ocular health needs. She keeps her eye on emerging technologies in optometry, always looking for new ways to improve the vision of her patients.

Dr. Madeleine Hacker grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee and later attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She had considered various paths including medical school and pursuing a Ph.D. in genetics. However, after a classmate of hers introduced her to the idea of optometry school she never looked back.
Dr. Hacker graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in microbiology and chemistry from UW - Eau Claire in 2013 and went on to study at Michigan College of Optometry in Big Rapids, MI. During her time in optometry school, she was involved in scleral contact lens research and had the opportunity to go on a service trip to Dominica to give eye exams to the island's residents. She completed her optometry degree in 2018 graduating with Highest Distinction and was the recipient of the prestigious Silver Medal Award from the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.
Forever a student by nature, she sought to further her education through a residency program. She matched with the Anterior Segment Disease and Specialty Contact Lens program at SSM Health Davis Duehr Dean in Madison which brought her closer to home (much to her mother's delight). During her year residency, she worked closely with the cornea department learning how to manage complex eye conditions and fitting medically necessary contacts. She stayed with Davis Duehr Dean until May 2020 when she joined the Brandon Eyes Family.
Dr. Hacker takes pride in providing high-quality and comprehensive eye care for her patients. She feels strongly about ensuring that everyone's questions and concerns are addressed, and the environment and technology at Brandon Eyes have helped her to do so.
In her free time, Dr. Hacker enjoys traveling, farmers' markets, spending time with her boyfriend Adam and trying to prevent their kitten Percy from causing too much trouble around the house.
